As the systems we have depended on collapse around us, and it becomes more obvious that our political and economic systems cannot be reformed, we wonder what we can do now.
I have been led to connect with Indigenous people and learn about Indigenous Futurity, which aligns with my Quaker beliefs. I have been blessed to see and participate in building Indigenous Futurity by working to build Great Plains Action Society’s Indigenous-led Urban Resilience Hub in downtown Iowa City. A concrete example of what Indigenous Futurity looks like.
