The Shift That Changes Everything
It is sobering to face the reality of global economic, environmental and political collapse. Or rather, that the reality of the collapse other peoples have been experiencing for a long time has come to the white people of this country.

For me, this means I will no longer be writing to try to explain our current systems of injustice and ways I’ve been led to promote solutions.
The argument for why these systems are failing has been made by the systems themselves.
Now I am being led into the response phase. I’m immensely grateful to have been invited by my friend Sikowis Nobiss to help build the Indigenous-led Urban Resilience Hub in Iowa City. Which is a concrete example of what a response to collapse looks like. The Hub is a model of what other communities might build in response to the crisis.
